Encircled Flux – Encircled Flux とは？気を配らなければならない理由とは？
LC/MPO カセットのような低損失光ファイバー・コンポーネントの導入に伴って、予定損失（テスト制限）はますます小さくなりつつあります。結果として、敷設業者は、ファイバー・テストに関する従来の方法や前提がもはや成立しないことに気付いています。
米国電気通信工業会 (TIA) は、現在もコネクターあたり 0.75 dB を許可していますが、工場で研磨されるコネクターは 0.2 dB 前後です。そのため、敷設業者が TIA の制限をテストする際には、測定にかなりの不確実性が認められています。つまり、このようなテストを実施することは妥当ではあっても完璧ではないということです。

By now you will have heard about the new OptiFiber Pro OTDR and that’s a relief for me because I’ve been biting my tongue for a while!
