クラス Fa フィールド試験 - DSX CableAnalyzer
You will find Class FA in ISO/IEC 11801:2010. There will be no equivalent in ANSI/TIA. ANSI/TIA has jumped from Category 6A to Category 8 (early draft status).
A Class FA link is made up of Category 7A components. The two most common connector types are TERA and GG45.
To locate Class FA in the DSX-5000 CableAnalyzer, you will need to look under the ISO folder:
The PL2 and PL3 refer to the number of connections in the link. There is also a 600 MHz and 1 GHz version to choose from. ISO/IEC 11801:2010 refers to IEC 61935-1 for field test requirements. The current published Edition 3 only supports field testing to 600 MHz with Level IV accuracy. There is a draft Edition 4 supporting field testing to 1 GHz with Level V accuracy. Whilst not formally published, no technical changes are expected. For this reason, Fluke Networks gives you the option of testing to either Edition 3 or 4 of IEC 61935-1. Your cabling vendor offering the warranty will of course define the upper frequency test you are required to carry out.
Attention TERA installers: You will need at least one Channel Adapter (DSX-CHA011) in order to set a reference. Do NOT order two TERA DSX-PLA011 Permanent Link Adapters without at least one DSX-CHA011 TERA Channel adapters. Failing to do will prevent you from setting a reference and hence, certifying your installation.
Attention GG45 installers: DSX-5000 approval from Nexans has been granted and production of GG45 Channel Adapters is expected Nov 2014.
